One of the great trails: demanding and challenging but giving enormous satisfaction. It reaches the extremely panoramic peak of the Piz Tri (2310 mt) From the top a magnificent 360° view of the Monte Rosa, Bernina, Ortles-Cevedale and Adamello groups. A large part of the trail winds itself along mule tracks dating back to the Great War, skimming some recently repaired defence posts: alpine pastures and mountain huts can be seen on this loop trail around Monte Faeto.
