Track description

Leaving the village of Fucine di Ossana take the road in the direction of Passo Tonale.  The few difficult and demanding stretches of road start right at the beginning but are quite short, and all in the first half of the trail. Once past the village of Vermiglio, the incline is constant at about 6 – 7%. The road continues through dense woodland, which thins out in the proximity of Tonale, where it is flat. Once in Tonale you will see the sign on the border of Lombardy and Trentino. There is a wonderful view of the Adamello-Presanella group from here, and if you wish, you can carry on down to Ponte di Legno and the Val Camonica.
